What is GOD? Does God really exist?

The dictionary meaning of God is the Creator and the Ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the supreme being. He is the Creator. That means He was not created by anyone. So it is foolish or naive to ask who created God. If He was created by someone, then He is not God.

There are various beliefs among humans. Some people believe that the world was created by a big bang. The big bang is how astronomers explain how the universe began. The idea is that the universe began as just a single point, then expanded and stretched to grow as large as it is right now —and it is still stretching! Ask yourself, how did that single point come into existence? How could it expand if there was no life inside? Who created that life? Have you ever seen an explosion? Has it ever created something beautiful and orderly? NEVER. Who told the sea to stay within its boundaries?Who gave wisdom to ants to store its provision in summer and gather its food at harvest? Certainly not a big bang. All these must be done by a great being called GOD.

As a software developer, I have to write code to make an application work. Everything must be created by someone. Nothing can exist by itself. This great universe can't exist on by itself. It must be created by a great being, and that being is GOD.

Some people believe in idols, calling them gods. Imagine, I create an idol using wood, clay or metal and it is clear that it has no life. It can't move, it can't hear and it can't speak. I have to carry it. Since I create it, I am a creator, and the idol is my creation.  Then how can I call my creation my creator(or God) and expect my creation to help me in my need? It doesn't make any sense when I believe that my creation will save me. How can my creation, which has no life, create this great universe which is full of life? It is IMPOSSIBLE. So, idols are not GOD and can NEVER be GOD. They are just created by humans.

Some people believe in a religious teacher like Buddha or a religious leader like Muhammad. No matter how great they are, they are just humans. They did not create this universe, but rather lived in this universe as we are now. So they can never be GOD.

The nature around us demonstrates that there is a God who created the universe, including the stars, all the planets, the wind, the rain, the animals, the birds, the sea creatures, me and you. He is full of wisdom, the depth of which no human can fathom. His eyes see everything and everyone. Whether we mere mortals agree or not, believe or not, there is a God who lives forever, reigns forever, and rules forever. He does not need our vote to win an election and become God. He has no beginning and has no end.
